A Swiss army salt and pepper cotton canvas and leather rucksack, dated 1954. Noted flaws: scuffs, marks and scrapes to the leather and canvas throughout; leather straps have cracking and wear in areas; original cotton inner flap has been cut out; some seams have been resewn; small machine repair at the lower back right; small fray at the front pocket corner; some blue paint spots throughout; handwriting inside the main flap; missing the original back pad. Tough salt and pepper canvas body, thick bridle leather straps and base, webbing back support, maker's stamps, adjustable shoulder straps, outer buckle up pocket, large inner space, weighs 2.5kg empty.
